Getting into the meat of the conference schedules this week with games like Washington vs Rutgers and Wisconsin vs USC. (???) How long will it take to get used to seeing these matchups? I guess we will be looking at a big a conference game between AAC rivals Hawaii and East Carolina next year. Oh well… here are some other weird conference games to watch this weekend. Ho Ho Ho college football fans! Suit up, because the most wonderful time of the year is upon us... Bowl Season! That's right, it's a time to celebrate non-stop football, delicious holiday treats and the annual tradition of simultaneously rejoicing and questioning the Bowl Selection Committee's choices.   But hey, that's part of the fun, right? Like fruitcake, the bowl season selection process might be a bit...dense. No one claims to like it, but it always creates juicy debate and enough competition to rival Santa’s reindeer games.   So, grab your eggnog (spiked or plain, no judgment here), put on your coziest holiday sweater, and dive into the attached schedule (printed on good ol' 11x14). Attached and below, you'll find the schedule for the remaining bowl games. It's so epic, it practically needs its own reindeer to pull it.   Let's raise a toast to: Your favorite team pulling off a Hail Mary victory (unless it's against mine, then Go Grinch... Looking through the schedule this week it dawned on me that I did not know what North Texas mascot name was. We looked it up and realized that we never would have guessed it without having a clue given to us. For fun we went through the rest of the schedule to see how many team names that we knew.
