About us

Since 1996, the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) has been a leader in workforce development programs, serving residents and employers in Wayne and Monroe counties (excluding the city of Detroit). SEMCA is the region's Michigan Works! Agency (MWA), with seven Michigan Works Service Centers located in Dearborn, Grosse Pointe, Highland Park, Livonia, Monroe, Southgate, and Wayne.
