Southern Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is a licensed 331-bed hospital serving Riverdale, Georgia, and the surrounding communities. Southern Regional has been serving the southern crescent communities of metro Atlanta since 1971. Southern Regional provides primary and specialty care services including Emergency Services, Heart and Vascular, Advanced Imaging, Surgical Services, Senior Care Services, Bariatric & Healthy Weight Center, Sleep Diagnostics, Rehabilitation, Wound Care, Women’s Healthcare and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care. In addition, Southern Regional offers The Advanced Imaging Center and The Spivey Station Women's Diagnostic Center at the Spivey Station Medical Office Building in Jonesboro, Ga. Southern Regional has been recognized on the state and national level for the quality of care provided; and holds the distinction of being certified as an accredited Chest Pain Center and an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Our Medical Staff is comprised of nearly 500 physicians that blend their passion for healing with advanced technology to offer the latest procedures and treatments.
