From mental health resources to career training and social services, we are committed to providing the support our community needs. This event was a powerful opportunity to strengthen our #PrinceGeorgesCounty community and build essential connections. Southern Management is proud to sponsor the Prince George’s County Alsobrooks Summer Passport Experience once again! This nationally recognized, award-winning initiative by the National Association of Counties provides middle school students with incredible opportunities for education, entrepreneurship, and experience. Our signature course, "The Life You Want to Live," allowed students to dive into the leasing process, explore financial literacy, master marketing skills, and gain hands-on experience with maintenance alongside our expert team. We are honored to continue supporting our community and look forward to seeing these young individuals thrive. Together, we are making a difference!

We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Delmi Coronel to property manager at Daniel's Run Apartment Homes. Delmi’s journey with Southern Management began in 2015. She started as a part-time leasing professional and quickly rose to assistant property manager within a year. Her dedication and passion led her to complete Southern Difference Institute and Leadership College, gaining invaluable experience along the way. In 2021, Delmi brought her expertise to various Southern Management communities as a leasing manager, and her exceptional performance earned her another promotion to assistant property manager shortly after. Delmi’s dedication and infectious enthusiasm have been instrumental to her success, and we are excited to see her continue to shine in her new role. Congratulations, Delmi!

Southern Management proudly upholds a legacy of education and growth with our annual Raising Stars scholarship program, helping to fund higher education and vocational schooling opportunities for the children of our team members. We would like to congratulate this year's 33 scholarship recipients who have demonstrated incredible talent and potential. With a total of $40,000 awarded in scholarships, these students are on their way toward a brighter future. It is an honor to be part of their educational journey, and we can’t wait to see the heights they will reach!

At Southern Management, we’re passionate about making a difference, which is why we were thrilled to sponsor The National Institutes of Health's (NIH) Annual Camp Fantastic BBQ fundraiser. This event supports Special Love, Inc., one of NIH’s charities, and its mission to provide unforgettable summer camp experiences for young cancer patients and survivors. Located in Front Royal, Virginia, Camp Fantastic brings together children from all over the country for a week of adventure and camaraderie. This program not only offers recreational activities but also boasts a fully staffed medical facility on-site, allowing kids to participate safely in all the camp has to offer. We are proud to stand alongside NIH and Special Love in their efforts to provide this uplifting event where kids can simply be kids. We are proud to support such an incredible cause and look forward to many more years of partnership.

Maria began her journey with us as a Leasing Professional at Fountain Club in 2010. Over the years, she has consistently demonstrated a dedication and sense of expertise, earning a promotion to Assistant Property Manager in 2015. In her new role, Maria will leverage the skills honed over nearly a decade as an assistant property manager, combined with the insights gained from the 2022‒2023 Leadership College program.
