SouthLight has a team of clinicians on the ground at North Carolina’s Emergency Operations Center in Raleigh, providing trauma-informed support to over 300 commanders and staff from the NC Department of Health and Human Services, FEMA, the American Red Cross, EMS, the National Guard, the State Highway Patrol, the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC and more. Our team is offering vital secondary-trauma support to help responders process the intense and ongoing emergency response efforts. We are committed to providing compassionate mental health services to those in need, including emergency responders in Wake County leading the Western NC relief efforts. As we look ahead to the next weeks and months, SouthLight will be partnering with other agencies to assess the short-term and long-term needs related to behavioral health. Together, we are fostering resilience and helping rebuild lives. Thanks to Kellie Ross and Jennifer Whitfield for leading this effort. #CommunitySupport #MentalHealthMatters #EmergencyResponse #TraumaInformedCare #SouthLightCares #NCHelps #WesternNC
