The professional members of Southside VA SHRM represent businesses and public agencies in all of Southside Virginia. SSVASHRM is a recognized chapter of the national organization, Society for Human Resource Management. SSVASHRM has been a sanctioned chapter since 1998. Meetings are conducted in Danville which is located in the south-central area of Virginia on the North Carolina border. SSVASHRM is pleased to participate in a collaborative effort with other organizations and agencies to promote the Human Resource Profession in Danville, Chatham, South Boston, Martinsville, Gretna, Altavista and other Southside towns.
