Custom Tool & Die located in Mountville, PA has the ability to manufacture custom machine parts, die and die repair, sub-assemblies and complete assemblies as well as handle all forms of machining from thousand piece runs to one-piece prototypes. In business since 1973, the 2nd generation owner joe woratyla has a management philosophy of “Complete Customer Satisfaction Every Time.” Recently Custom Tool & Die added to their TRAK Machine Fleet by taking delivery of not just one but (two) DPMRX3 bed mills. This machine has a similar footprint to that of a knee mill with a 50”x10” table, 5hp motor, CAT40 spindle, up to 400ipm of rapid travel, 25.8” of z-axis travel, 5,000 rpms and our most current ProtoTRAK RMX CNC control. Irving Chavez gets Promoted! Please join us in congratulating Irving Chavez on his promotion to Machine Shop Supervisor. Reporting to Mark Takahashi, Irving will lead the Machine Shop team. Irving joined TRAK Machine Tools in 2015 as a Machine Operator. He learned the various machines and progressed onto editing/making programs, making tooling for the Machine Shop, and mentoring and training the newer CNC Machinists. Earlier this year, Irving took on the role of Machine Shop Mill Lead. His favorite part about working at TMT is the opportunity and encouragement he and others have received to be challenged to learn new skills. Irving is very excited to learn his new role and find new ways to continue to develop the machine shop. He expresses Les Tolnai has been a great mentor and he is excited for the challenge. Irving has been married for 13 years. He has 2 children and 1 more on the way. In his free time, Irving likes to visit new coffee shops with his wife, play golf, help his son engineer toys, and listen to his daughter sing. With over 25 years of proven leadership in sales management and strategic development, Scott will oversee a team of direct Sales Representatives, Field Service Technicians, and Business Development Representatives across the Western United States. He will also manage and develop key distributors in the region to drive business growth and deliver outstanding service to clients. We took our time in this search because it is a key position with us, recounted Mike McGarry, TRAK's National Sales Manager. "Scott stood out because of his proven capacity for learning product technology and his ability to teach others."
