We are excited to share the successful completion of multiple remote robotic-assisted procedures using the Sovato Platform. The demonstration included seven surgeons across multiple specialties performing surgery over a 500-mile distance between Lincoln, NE, and Chicago, IL. The shared confidence felt by the surgeons in performing a remote robotic surgery was at the core of the results. As Francesco Bianco, MD, FACS. put it, "I could not tell the difference between doing surgery in my operating room or in an operating room that was 500 miles away."
