Could antisemitism reach space? 🌌🛰️ In our latest video, we explore this cosmic concern and discuss a recent incident where Israel intercepted a Houthi missile beyond the Kármán line. Instead of condemning the attack, the debate shifted to whether Israel's defense was justified. This highlights a disturbing trend: antisemitism can manifest in space just as it does on Earth. To thrive in the space age, we must respond ethically, artfully, and inclusively. Watch now and join the conversation on how we can ensure a future of unity and respect among the stars. ✡️🚀 #SpaceMidrash #Antisemitism #SpaceEthics #JewishValues #CosmicJourney #SpaceExploration #UnityInDiversity

🌌✨ Over thousands of years, every single passage in the Torah has been interpreted and reinterpreted in every which way. One promise that stands out is what God makes to Abraham: ‘Count the stars, if you can. So too will your offspring be.’ This statement isn’t just a promise, but a challenge, suggesting the impossibility of counting the stars, yet hinting at the abundant future of his descendants, surpassing even the number of stars in the sky. As we go deeper into the universe, we are constantly reminded of this ancient challenge and the promise of boundless possibilities. Join me as we explore the cosmic and spiritual journey through the stars. 🚀📖 🔭Watch the full video, 🚀follow this page, 🖖Subscribe to the podcast #spacemidrash #jewishphilosophy #futurism

🌌✨ Announcing the Latest Episode of Space Midrash! ✨🌌 Join us for a fascinating conversation with Deana Weibel, a professor and anthropologist whose work delves into the profound connections between religion and space exploration. 🌠📚 In this episode, Deana illuminates how faith follows us to the stars: "There is religion in space because there are people in space and they're practicing their religions in space." We explore how spiritual practices adapt and evolve, even in the vast expanse of the cosmos. 🚀🙏 Deana also shares her insights on the dynamic nature of faith, noting that "Religions change... when humans get out into space there are going to be experiences and events and understandings of divine intervention and other things that are going to shift religions as much as we've seen them shift on earth if not more." 🌕✨ Our discussion covers the ethical dilemmas of interacting with extraterrestrial landscapes, the parallels between earthly pilgrimages and space travel, and the transformative experiences of astronauts. Deana’s perspectives shed light on how our spiritual heritage evolves as humanity reaches for the stars. We also eagerly anticipate her upcoming book on the ultra view effect, which explores what astronauts can teach us about awe, humility, and the mysteries of the cosmos. 📖🌌 Tune in to this enlightening episode to explore the cosmic interplay of faith and science, and discover how our spiritual heritage continues to grow and transform in the space age. 🌠🔭 #SpaceMidrash #ReligionInSpace #Spirituality #Anthropology #SpaceExploration #Podcast #NewEpisode #DeanaWeibel Deana Weibel Jacob Sager
