New podcast alert! 🎙️ At the recent Podcast Movement Evolutions conference, we hosted a session highlighting Spotify NextGen, our ongoing program designed to help inspire and support students at HBCUs interested in pursuing a career in audio media. This year, Spotify collaborated with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones who worked alongside students at Howard University to create 1619: The College Edition. Said Jones, “Our talent is endless at Howard University, but an important thing Spotify did throughout this partnership was provide the podcast equipment, show up and provide guidance on podcast editing, provide instructional support, post the podcast on Spotify’s platform, and now provide a stage for us to talk about the launch of our new podcast. Invest in HBCU campuses, you won’t regret it.” Click to listen to 1619: The College Edition: https://lnkd.in/eBx_fqD8
