I’m incredibly proud of the work coming out of our strategic partnership with Carnegie Mellon University! Sanjali Jain and her team have done an outstanding job in elevating SpreeAI’s product experience with innovative design concepts that are driving the future of fashion tech. The talent, insight, and fresh perspective from CMU’s students are invaluable as we push the boundaries of what AI can achieve in the fashion space. We deeply value our partnership with CMU, where their brilliant minds are helping us shape and advance SpreeAI. Huge thanks to Sanjali, her team, and the CMU community for their dedication and collaboration. Excited to see where we go from here! 💯
Masters in Interaction Design (Professional Track) at Carnegie Mellon University. Seeking full-time Product Design and UX Design roles, starting May 2025
Elevating Conversational UI for SpreeAI: A Seamless Integration with UNIQLO As part of our Interaction Design (IxD) Studio Project at Carnegie Mellon University, my team—Deeya Parikh, Eldar Gilmanov, Summer Chao, and I—collaborated with SpreeAI. This brand aims to empower fashion e-commerce platforms with their AI-powered virtual try-on. We elevated SpreeAI’s product experience by designing a conversational user interface that provides an innovative and engaging shopping experience for users and e-commerce fashion brands. We situated SpreeAI’s product within Uniqlo’s ecosystem, aligning the design solution with the brand's values and user expectations. Our team did research, concept ideation, UX design, Conversational UI, AR/VR integration, and prototyping to present full-fidelity design concepts to SpreeAI's design team, product managers, and CEO John Imah. We took inspiration from Meta's AI voice model and Perplexity AI's UI to design our CUI to ensure flexibility across different platforms. You can view the project here Link: https://lnkd.in/d8JjekSs Key Product Features: 🔹 Personalized product recommendations based on user preferences 🔹 Voice-enabled virtual try-ons for building comfort and trust in the product 🔹 Omnichannel continuity across digital and physical stores 🔹 Real-time feedback and friendly interactions with users A big thank you to Marina Kim, the Design Lead at SpreeAI, and John Imah, CEO of SpreeAI, for the opportunity to work on this exciting project and for providing insights that were instrumental in shaping our design. I’m also grateful to our professors, Andrew Twigg and Dina El-Zanfaly, PhD, and my incredible MDes cohort for their support throughout this journey. #AIinRetail #ConversationalUI #ProductDesign #UXDesign #SpreeAI #Uniqlo #VoiceAI #DesignIteration #DesignThinking #Accessibility
