In August, we rounded out summer by embracing our community of caring spirit with a range of events and activities! Check out all of the exciting things we participated in! ☀️ 🥰 🥳 Celebrated our Quarter 2 SC Celebrates winners, honoring their dedication and outstanding efforts! ☀️ Our Taylorville team had a great time at Manners Park Summer Program! The kids learned to take vitals, practice wound care and perform history and physical exams, making health care fun and engaging. 🎉 Celebrated Dr. Jon Mann's retirement with gratitude for his dedication and years of hard work! 🎡 Springfield Clinic employees had a fantastic time attending the Illinois State Fair! Dr. Stevens won multiple awards including 1st place for the largest pumpkin! 🌿 Springfield Clinic's Kristin Fyans teamed up with RISE volunteers to work on projects that benefit the community. 👗 Sponsored Wooden It Be Lovely's Little Black Dress Gala, a women-only event. Employees, their friends and families enjoyed a memorable night featuring a cocktail hour, dinner and dessert, inspiring testimonies of hope, product sales, a furniture auction and dancing to wrap up the evening. 🩺 Sponsored the 2nd Annual Central Illinois Cultural Fest, with Michelle Feurer's Advocacy Team providing valuable health screenings. 🌟 Sponsored the NCP Anniversaries Event, where SC employees, their friends and families and Alderwoman Lakeisha Purchase came together to celebrate!

One of the most exciting features with Springfield Clinic’s investment into the SCHEELS Sports Park will be the DOME, which will allow for indoor volleyball, basketball, soccer and softball year round. Since its founding in 1963, ASATI, the company that will be building the DOME, has built more than 5,000 air supported structures all over the country for the NCAA, NFL, MLS and other recreational, commercial, environmental and industrial facilities. Hear from ASATI’s Donato Fraioli about how the DOME will go up -- and how this will be their largest dome to date -- located right here in Sangamon County. We’ve been having a fantastic summer packed with activities and initiatives! Dive into July’s highlights to see how Springfield Clinic embraced a community of caring. ☀️ ❤️ 🤖 Our team showcased the DaVinci Technology at the Peoria Surgery Center. They welcomed the community to witness demonstrations of its precision and minimally invasive capabilities. 😎 Our Pediatrics Dermatology team had a fantastic time at the IL Products Farmers' Market! They shared sun safety tips and handed out sunscreen to help everyone stay protected from the intense summer rays. 🐟 Hosted Camp Compass at the Springfield Clinic Pediatrics building. Campers visited the facility and were given interactive tours of the radiology department and an exam room. The kids also got to see the big fish tank, meet and chat with Dr. Steh, enjoy some snacks and go down the slide. 🌟 Proudly sponsored and attended the ATHENA Awards, celebrating leaders who excel in their profession and uplift others. This prestigious event honors those who inspire and empower our community. 🏌️ Teed off at the 29th Annual Corporate Cup Challenge Golf Outing. Competed in a shotgun scramble format against other local businesses for the travelling trophy. 🩸 Participated in the Veterans Empowerment Resource Fair held by the City of Springfield Mayor’s Office at the Salvation Army Community Center to provide health screenings, including blood pressure and blood glucose checks. 🚒 Celebrated the Sherman Fire Protection District's 70th Anniversary at their open house. Our providers offered free health screenings and had a blast trying out fire hoses and turnout gear. 🏐 Held our 5th Annual Volleyball Tournament. Employees, friends and family competed for trophies, medals and ultimate bragging rights. It was a fantastic day of fun and team spirit, bringing together staff from various departments. 👟 Springfield Clinic Peoria proudly supported our amazing team member, Bobbi Soule, as she ran for St. Jude. We hosted a water stop during the run, cheering her on and providing much-needed hydration. 🎶 Sponsored and attended the Downtown Levitt AMP Springfield Concert Series. Enjoyed amazing live music that brought the community together. 🎉 Celebrated Doug Gifford's 50th year at Springfield Clinic. Doug is a Materials Management Clerk. We are beyond grateful to have him on our team!

Lincoln Land Community College's HELPrS program is in full swing! 🌟 Over six immersive weeks, high school rising seniors and recent graduates explore a variety of health care careers, discovering their perfect fit. The students visited the Springfield Clinic 800 building for hands-on experiences in Radiology, Physical Therapy and Lab work. 🩺✨
