Position Overview:
As the Senior ERP Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our market reach in Michigan. You will be responsible for selling our ERP solutions to businesses with 30+ employees and annual sales exceeding $3 million. Additionally, you will lead the growth of our sales team, scaling it to include four or more sales professionals within the next two years.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
Identify and target businesses within Michigan that meet our ideal customer profile.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their pain points and presenting tailored ERP solutions to address their needs.
Lead by example in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize sales strategies, refine messaging, and enhance product offerings based on customer feedback.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Travel as needed throughout Michigan to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct sales meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Proven track record of success in selling ERP solutions, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in ERP sales.
Strong understanding of ERP systems and their benefits to businesses across various industries.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team, with experience in recruiting, training, and managing sales professionals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing effective sales strategies.
Willingness to travel as needed within Michigan and occasionally beyond.
