You may have heard about Lightweight Sports Production (LWSP) from LiveU, so you know that it is designed so that a single operative can manage contribution, production and distribution of a fully featured sports program from a single screen. We took it for a high speed outing over the weekend with our Product Director Matt Zajicek in the driving seat. We used two different set ups, LWSP Pro, with 2 LU300S mobile video-over-bonded-IP field encoders, LiveU Mobile Data and LiveU Studio for production, replay and distribution. This nimble set-up was used for live 2 camera coverage as the vehicle raced around the track. The second set-up, Lightweight Sports Production Elite, swaps the LU300Ss out for an LU800, capable of supporting 4 camera productions for more expansive storytelling. With a graphics package, from LiveU EcoSystem partner SPX Graphics , seamlessly integrated into LiveU Studio, Matt was able to switch the show using hot keys direct from his laptop, but as this was a cloud production, he could have shared some of the tasks with remote crew members located anywhere in the world.
