Since March, our team in SSRG's concrete division has been hard at work on the Purdue University tunnel system. We began with internal repairs while classes were in session and successfully restored the top of the tunnel over the summer to ensure everything was ready for students' return. Now, we’re finishing up the remaining internal repairs. This project highlights the unique challenges we tackle, especially in the tight spaces of the tunnel! #ToughJobsDoneWell

SSRG’s expert team completed a complex project at Greif, where we removed a compromised brick masonry wall that supported the existing roof structure. We then installed a new steel assembly to support the roof load, all while the facility remained 100% functional during construction. SSRG is once again completing work on the Roger Bacon High School football stadium as we recoat the concrete bleachers. Back in 2012, we applied the original coating for these bleachers, which came with a five-year warranty. Remarkably, even after 12 years, the coating has held up without any signs of failure. This project is a testament to the long-lasting impact of our work and the expertise of our team. We’re honored to continue our partnership with Roger Bacon High School and contribute to their facilities. #ToughJobsDoneWell

In 2015, SSRG took on the challenge of stabilizing and restoring 1706 Lang in Over-the-Rhine, preserving a piece of Cincinnati’s history. Today we continue in our commitment to ensuring that even the most fragile structures stand strong for the future. #ToughJobsDoneWell
Today's virtual tour stop takes us to 1706 Lang in Over-the-Rhine. When it partially collapsed in 2015, the historic brick building was slated for demolition. Fortunately, with the support of residents and the City of Cincinnati, the Hamilton County Landbank, a managed entity of The Port, was able to stabilize and save the circa-1855 structure.
