Did you know that September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month? Nearly 1 in 20,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year. However, symptoms can be extremely subtle and good screening modalities don’t yet exist. Experts recommend learning about what the early symptoms of the disease are and how to know if you’re at risk. They also recommend visiting your OBGYN once a year so patients can relay to their physician any symptoms they might be experiencing. Take some time to read about this all-too-common disease: https://bit.ly/3AXPggC Schedule an appointment today if you suspect you or a loved one may be at risk. #OvarianCancerAwarenessMonth
