  • Today, members of the Carroll Fire Department and St. Anthony staff united in a tribute, climbing the stairs of St. Anthony to honor the lives lost in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Nearly 3,000 souls were taken that day, including the brave first responders who selflessly rushed into danger to save others. Their courage and sacrifice will forever be in our hearts. Let’s stand together in memory and strength. #NeverForget #UnitedWeStand #911Remembrance

  • It was an exciting morning at St. Anthony Scrubs Camp! Local 7th and 8th graders joined us to explore various healthcare careers and gain hands-on experience that sparked their interest and passion. The day kicked off with an insightful tour of the Rehab Services and Radiology departments. They learned about the essential roles of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and explored different modalities of ultrasound, MRI, CT, and X-ray. Our interactive small group sessions included: • Practicing CPR on infants to adults and applying the CPR “LUCAS” chest compression system • Donning and doffing Personal Protective Equipment and testing their hand-washing skills with “glow germ” • Learning the basics of “Stop the Bleed” • Understanding healthy pregnancies and deliveries, as well as recognizing critically ill infants. • Drawing up medications and giving injections The day ended with a simulated emergency scenario, where students witnessed firsthand the collaboration and teamwork of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. A big thank you to all the participants and our dedicated staff for making this a memorable and educational experience! 🌟 #FutureMedProfessionals #StAnthonyScrubsCamp
