Influencers and "celebrities" exist everywhere. As a marketer and branding specialist, it comes down to identifying their most engaging and valuable qualities, and presenting them to the right audience. I had the incredible opportunity of overseeing social media for an NFL team when the medium first launched and spent my remaining 10 years experimenting with what worked and what didn't. Creating content for a brand that has a captive and extensive audience is a far different experience than creating content for a business owner or influencer whose engagement has historically been OFFLINE. The former is it's own version of fun; you get to play with content and see what works on different platforms.
