Safety's a priority on every project we touch. We enjoyed talking about our safety mentality and processes with the Associated General Contractors of America as part of their Construction Safety Excellence Awards podcast series. Take a listen at the link below to learn how safety starts from the ground up at Stacy WItbeck. https://lnkd.in/gvhQDe-3

On Friday, we celebrated our preconstruction work and partnership with Skanska, AECOM, and Los Angeles Metro as the Full Funding Grant Agreement (FFGA) for the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Project was officially signed. This is the first transit project in the country to receive funding through the FTA’s Expedited Project Delivery (EPD) Pilot Program, which accelerates transit infrastructure delivery by leveraging public-private partnerships to streamline the delivery process through innovation. Qualified projects also must meet criteria for mobility improvements, environmental benefits, congestion relief, and economic development, as well as meet ridership projections using the STOPS model. To get here, the team has been working nonstop on base design validation, budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering services. Final design has begun, and utility relocations are scheduled to start soon. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gVSPngRr

Last Friday was a great day to be in Seattle, with the grand opening of Sound Transit’s northernmost extension: Lynnwood Link. The on-time opening shows what rolling up the sleeves can accomplish, as the team overcame a concrete strike, wildfires in the region, a tight corridor, and a global pandemic. A huge congratulations and thank you to Sound Transit, Kiewit, Hoffman Construction Company, and all the others working tirelessly alongside us to get the job done. The MAX Red Line Improvements Project is officially open! As the prime CM/GC contractor, we're proud of our contribution in delivering on TriMet vision for "A Better Red." Over the past 45 months, our team has worked safely to construct walls, bridges, a multi-use path, major utilities, and upgraded transit stations across TriMet's corridor. Our team collaborated with TriMet's operations team to phase construction so that our work did not impact passenger service, except for the eight time-sensitive shutdowns for critical work which were all delivered on time. All said, the team put in more than 320,000 workerhours without a single recordable incident. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gtteJQhB

Happy 1st anniversary to the Ogden Express (OGX). Congratulations, Utah Transit Authority!
Today, UTA is celebrating one year of OGX! 🎂 🎉 For one year, the all-electric Ogden Express (OGX) bus rapid transit line has offered a quick and easy way for citizens, students, and visitors to experience all that Ogden has to offer. Since its launch, OGX has recorded nearly one million riders, becoming the most popular Ogden bus route and one of the top five UTA routes by ridership. Due to federal funding, OGX will remain Zero Fare through August 2026. Thank you to all of our riders who have made the first year of OGX such a success! #WeMoveYou #RideUTA #OGX

Stacy Witbeck reposted this
It was exciting to host and give a tour of the Downtown Redmond Link Extension R200 Project to the Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training (PACT) students. PACT students had lots of great questions about the different trades working on the project, the different scopes of work, the students were very engaged, and energized about the possible career paths they were going to take soon. This level of energy and excitement for learning a trade and having a career in construction is what Stacy Witbeck wants! These are future construction leaders, and it was great to show them how we build cool stuff.

We're rolling up our sleeves and bringing the grit to make travel easier in Malibu. Our team has been working hard on the Trancas Bridge Replacement to provide smoother travel on this iconic section of California’s Pacific Coast Highway. Congratulations, Caltrain!
Caltrain powered up a new era by running its first inaugural electric train this weekend! The Caltrain Electrification Project signifies a major advancement in modernizing the commuter line between San Francisco and San Jose. MRS developed and implemented a new track circuit solution to bolster the grade crossing warning system, collaborating closely with stakeholders and the Federal Railroad Administration. We were proud to celebrate this achievement with Caltrain and the community it serves.
