Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is deeply rooted in Napa Valley’s wine legends. The winery added to Napa Valley’s legends with its 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon which French wine experts ranked highest among the best wines of France during a blind tasting in Paris – now referred to as the “The Judgment of Paris, which brought international recognition to Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars and Napa Valley. Today, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is recognized for its portfolio of estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignons – S.L.V., FAY, and CASK 23 – which are among the most highly regarded and sought-after Cabernets in the world.

Our dedicated team diligently harvests Cabernet Sauvignon in the cool air hours before dawn. Between 3:30 am - 5:30 am, their nimble hands move swiftly through the vines as they snip off clusters from the vine with precision and speed. No more than three dozen clusters fit in their micro bins to ensure the fruit is treated with ultimate care. It was an early and accelerated #NapaHarvest2024 with all the grapes coming to perfect ripeness simultaneously, leading to a promising and consistent 2024 vintage. We can't wait to share it with you.
