I wanted to take a minute to shout out the StagePilot team. In nearly every pitch meeting, I’m asked what makes StagePilot different from other streaming platforms. My answer always starts with our team. I assume our competitors also tout themselves as being ”full service”, so it’s hard to know if/how that resonates with prospects. Here’s an example of what full service means for the SP team. We took on our largest project to date this month. Twitch, who we work with regularly, asked us to help launch their new DJ category with a 24 hour livestream and a live event. The stream featured 24 DJs, including Grandmaster Flash, SOFI TUKKER, Cheat Codes and more streaming from the US, Tokyo, Bali, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Australia and beyond. Working in 2 cities, our team executed seamless transitions between sets, Raiding viewers from one channel to the next for 24 hours. The stream culminated in a StagePilot produced live show in NYC headlined by Grammy-winning producer and DJ, Zedd. The venue was transformed into an immersive "global DJ headquarters” with massive screens displaying live feeds from the 24-hour stream, real-time fan chat and custom Twitch DJ graphics. Not only was the stream and live event flawless, but I had the pleasure of watching our team do what they’re so incredibly good at for days on end. And watching over 6 million fans enjoyed the result.
