Neha Samdaria, MBA ’18, founded Aam the Label to address a gap in women’s fashion: clothing that actually fits diverse body types. “Brands in the U.S. don’t design well-tailored clothes for women with fuller hips and thighs,” she says, noting this affects one in four American women, herself included. Her breakthrough came in Kigali, Rwanda, where clothes fit her perfectly—unlike U.S. sizes, which are based on outdated 1939 data focused on white women. Carter and Doorley’s perspectives brought Assembling Tomorrow to life, sparking meaningful conversations on crafting a future that meets the demands of our evolving world.

Stanford University School of Medicine unveiled 'Rooted in the Land', a monumental art installation at Stanford Research Park at 3145 Porter Drive, honoring the medicinal traditions of the Muwekma Ohlone, the original inhabitants of the land where the university now stands.
