Reflections on the STRK Provisions ('airdrop') viewed from inside, and a call for research to fix airdrops.

StarkNet is a ZK-Rollup built using the STARK cryptographic proof system.
About us
StarkNet is a permissionless decentralized Validity-Rollup (also known as a “ZK-Rollup”). It operates as an L2 network over Ethereum, enabling any dApp to achieve unlimited scale for its computation – without compromising Ethereum’s composability and security, thanks to StarkNet’s reliance on the safest and most scalable cryptographic proof system – STARK. StarkNet Contracts and the StarkNet OS are written in Cairo – supporting the deployment and scaling of any use case, whatever the business logic.

Defi Spring 2.0 is officially live! 🚀 defispring.starknet.io The Starknet DeFi Spring program was launched to help DeFi projects bootstrap their go-to-market efforts by providing additional yield (subsidized by the Starknet Foundation) to liquidity providers on participating DeFi protocols. And it worked. Very well. In the first round we saw 14.4M STRK distributed to 14 protocols, reaching over 100,000 users, and making Starknet one of the fastest growing ecosystems by TVL. So we decided to do it again. For Defi Spring 2.0 we have allocated an additional 50M STRK for eligible liquidity protocols and capital allocators across 4 categories, bringing the total budget up to 90M STRK. To find out more about the program and how to participate as a liquidity provider, or register as a participating DeFi Protocol, visit https://lnkd.in/gZjWQCgh #DeFi #Starknet #liquidityprovider #yield #decentralized #finance

For those interested in our next generation prover, listen in
StarkWare recently open-sourced the next-generation STARK prover, Stwo. Estimated to be at least 100x faster than Stone, our current prover, Stwo, is expected to be the fastest validity prover out there. Join us and the folks from Polygon Labs for the next STARK @ Home to learn about the maths behind Stwo and what drives it: Performance - The effect of small field size on proof generation time - Measuring Stwo in the wild Light Math - GKR, or “how to trade off round complexity and hash complexity” - Mixed degree, or “how to go from one size fits all to custom-tailored boxes” - Circle STARK, or “how to find recursive patterns where they shouldn’t exist” Deep Math -Unpacking the Circle STARK white paper Register now >> https://lnkd.in/dNX7GM-Y
