Starship Technologies x Bolt: Revolutionizing last-mile delivery 🚀 We’re thrilled to announce Starship’s first launch with Bolt today, integrating robot delivery into the Bolt Food app. It’s a landmark collaboration between two Estonian companies seeking to future-proof last-mile delivery and shape urban mobility across Europe. With over 7 million deliveries completed globally, Starship robots are now serving 180,000+ residents via Bolt Market stores in Tulika, Pallasti, and Mustika. There’s significant growth potential here as Bolt currently serves over 200 million customers in 50 countries and 500 cities, while Starship operates in more than 100 locations worldwide. This is a European first, reflecting our shared commitment to reducing traffic congestion, lowering emissions, and making delivery more affordable for everyone. Earlier today we caught up with new UK Member of Parliament Mark Sewards, who represents an area where our robots deliver to his constituents. We followed the robot as it made it navigated autonomously with its delivery of age restricted items and demonstrated how our built in age verification works using biometric identification: uploading an image of official ID which is checked by the system to make sure it’s genuine and valid, taking a selfie at the point of order that must match the ID and then a selfie at the point of collection to confirm that it’s you who is opening the robot. We also discussed the community acceptance work we do and, of course, the need for regulation. #lastmiledelivery #autonomy #robotdelivery

Some of Starship's first commercial operations were in Milton Keynes and we've always had a great relationship with local politicians, so it was a pleasure to show Callum Anderson around our hub today. Callum is the MP for our Milton Keynes hub where we calibrate, service and repair our robots, and as PPS to the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, he has an interest in our tech development too. We chatted about Starship's operations in different countries, what regulation could look like in the UK and how our robots have become a normal (and loved ❤️) part of everyday life.

August and early September are always a busy time for Team Starship in the US because its 'Back to School'! Starship robots are operating on a record number of campuses this year, with new additions like Georgia Institute of Technology, Southeast Missouri State University and The University of New Mexico taking us over the 50 campus mark. Here's a short read with insight from Annie Handrick about how our robots are socially accepted (and let's be honest, a little bit loved) on campus. #lastmiledelivery #robotdelivery #backtoschool

Delighted to be shortlisted for the Last Mile Delivery Business of the Year Award by Logistics UK. Last mile delivery is notoriously Carbon intensive and expensive. Starship robots have driven over 2,000,000 miles in the UK delivering hot food and groceries, reducing Carbon emissions by hundreds of thousands of tonnes and lowering the cost of getting things where they need to go. #lastmiledelivery #robotdelivery #autonomy #embodiedAI

Our little robots have hit another BIG number 🚀 14,000,000 kilometres travelled across the the globe delivering hot food, groceries and smiles! Starship robots are 99% autonomous and continue to learn with every journey. Driving so many millions of kilometres in the real world - and learning with every trip - means they're pretty smart little guys and gals! #Autonomy #lastmiledelivery #EmbodiedAI #robots

Congratulations to Grubhub on their significant expansion in the campus dining space over the last year! Grubhub has been an exceptional campus partner as we expand the reach of robot delivery, including new launches at The University of New Mexico, Prairie View A&M University, California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), and more this Fall. Together, we are delivering innovative and convenient solutions to students and campus communities nationwide. Huge kudos to the team 🚀
We caught up with Rob DelaCruz, Vice President and General Manager of Grubhub’s campus business, just in time for students and faculty return to campus across the country for the start of the fall semester. He shares his perspective on the campus business evolution over the past year, his team’s record achievements for the 2023-2024 school year, and his approach to fostering a culture that continues to drive momentum. Ahead of the school year, we added more than 60 new university partners, and now reach more than 4.5 million students who can connect their meal plans to Grubhub to skip the line when they order food from on- and off-campus restaurants. We’ve also grown the number of campus partners using our innovative services and solutions that redefine the campus dining experience, including robot delivery, Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology and Topanga.io reusable containers.
