"I didn’t know what to expect when I was initially hired into the company." Five years ago, Cody began his career as an auto appraiser after a referral from a friend. "During onboarding, the trainer mentioned endless opportunities for growth. I was excited about the possibilities." Cody took ownership of his development and was selected for a promotion shortly after completing training. He continues to lean into company resources like tuition assistance and mentoring to enhance his skills and better prepare for future opportunities. "I am working towards a degree in programming and State Farm tuition assistance has been a huge help. In the past six months, I have been job shadowing and mentoring to gain more insight about the business analyst role.
