Steerforth Press is a publishing company based out of Lebanon, NH, United States. When four partners launched Steerforth Press in 1993, its first catalog featured “Manifesto for a New Press” which declared “Our interests fall into no category, no field, no niche; our tests of a book’s worth are whether it has been written well, is intended to engage the full attention of the reader, and has something new or important to say.” In 2020 Steerforth Press launched a new nonfiction imprint, T2P Books (Truth to Power). With a radical devotion to the truth, T2P publishes personal accounts, investigative journalism and iconoclastic histories that are thoughtful and reliable, qualities at a premium in the Internet age, and that inform through storytelling, not argument.
