Did you know that we offer respite stays in our inpatient hospice unit? This time can provide a much needed break for caregivers and is often covered by insurance for hospice patients. We recently received a wonderful thank you letter from a caregiver who was able to benefit from respite stays for his wife. We so appreciate this feedback and are so proud of the amazing work our IPU caregivers provide each and every day! #hospice #ipu #missiondriven

What do donning and doffing, flu shots, supplement education and yogurt parfaits all have in common, you ask? They were all featured stations during the Annual Skills Fair at Stella Maris yesterday. Wound care, lift assist, fire safety, fit testing and MORE were also topics on the education agenda at the fair! 337 employees received training and education from more than a dozen different stations yesterday while enjoying healthy snacks, door prizes, chair massages and music.
