Cleaning your mats thoroughly before moving them to another job site is an important step in preventing cross-contamination and ensuring that your equipment is ready for the next project. Mats can accumulate dirt, chemicals, and other debris from one site, which can introduce unwanted elements to another, potentially harming the local environment and violating regulations. A thorough cleaning process not only protects the new site but also ensures that your mats are in optimal condition, reducing the risk of issues that could disrupt your operations. By maintaining cleanliness, you uphold industry standards and contribute to safer, more efficient work environments across all your projects. #Sterling #CleanMatsAreHappyMats

Happy Halloween, from all of us here at Sterling! 🎃👻 Spooky season is finally upon us. Which means it’s time to embrace your dark side. Go on and take that piece of candy from your kid’s trick or treat bucket. Drink a PSL or three. Scare your easily frightened coworker. Whatever you plan to do, just remember to have a safe and delightful Halloween. Or else (cue spooky music). Happy haunting and stay safe, everyone! #HappyHalloween #SterlingSiteAccessSolutions

Our TerraCross bridges are everywhere! This 40 footer made its way to Western Colorado for a customer who needed access to a newly acquired piece of land they are working on. To safely bring in the equipment and supplies without causing major disruption to the beautiful environment, they chose TerraCross. Our teams, including Jacob Jackson who submitted these pictures, were out on site making magic happen since our bridge needed to be adjusted to fit this specific geography while maintaining all safety, engineering, and functional standards. Helping get people where they need to go in life is just one of the things we love here at Sterling. Our amazing field and product teams are another. #TerraCrossTeamWork #TeamWorkMakesTheDreamWork #Engineering #Colorado #TemporaryBridges #SiteAccess #Innovation

Checking for proper water flow through matted areas is essential for preventing water buildup and associated issues like erosion, flooding, and damage to both the mats and the environment. Standing water can undermine the stability of your worksite, making the mats less effective and creating unsafe conditions for workers and equipment. Ensuring that water can flow freely under and around the mats helps to maintain a stable surface and protects the surrounding environment from potential damage. This proactive approach to managing water flow is key to the long-term success and safety of your operations. #Sterling #LetItFlowLetItFlow

Another great adventure at The Morton Arboretum for our outdoor, cardio loving employees! With fall colors in full swing, the beautiful day brought out tons of runners, including our own Michael Janociak, Krista Magurany, and Andrew Geriane, who were able to enjoy the scenic routes around the property. Thank you to the Morton Arboretum for the passes and the year-round programming. We are happy to continue supporting your cause so more people can experience the great things you do for trees. #MortonArboretum #5K #FallColorRun #Running #Cardio #OutdoorAdventures #SterlingEmployees

What to do when it gets to be sweater weather in Illinois? Eat chili! This week, two of our locations in Illinois hosted a chili cook off where winners receive prizes and bragging rights for the year. 11 people brought in recipes that were near and dear to their hearts. There were traditional recipe chilis, chicken chilis, an Italian sausage and pineapple chili, and even one featuring Thai flavors! But alas, when the stomachs were full and the dishes piled up, two victors arose. Congratulations to Renee Kennedy Reed and Chad Kalebich for taking top honors! Until next year! #Sterling #EmployeeEvents #ChiliCookOff #BeansOrNoBeans #Pineapple #SweaterWeather
