Menopause is a significant life transition that every woman experiences. However, a scarcity of meaningful dialogue, bias in clinical settings, and lack of women-directed research leads millions of women to suffer in silence each year. Learn more about this project, supported by Foundation President Alex Cohen, here: https://lnkd.in/gCEJCkND It’s time to bring women’s health into the spotlight. #menopause #womenshealth

In March of this year, LaGuardia Community College unveiled plans for the Cohen Career Collective, a state-of-the-art workforce training center that will ensure economic mobility for New Yorkers while providing skilled workers for local employers. The Cohen Career Collective is made possible by a historic gift from the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation, led by Foundation President and New York Mets owner Alex Cohen. As highlighted by Inside Philanthropy, the award magnifies the critical role of community colleges in providing opportunities for individuals that may face barriers to higher education elsewhere, but it also, “represents a monumental shift in philanthropic focus and how significant charitable contributions are allocated.” Read the entire article here: https://bit.ly/3ycliok #CohenGive
