Because their voices deserve to be lifted… For over five decades, this forever proud community of alumni of the once segregated all black Roosevelt High School in South Florida continues to fight to share their story and rebuild their formerly thriving neighborhood. Stinghouse Creative is grateful to all those clients, partners, community leaders, donors, and Roosevelt High Alumni who trusted us to create this short film to preserve and advance this cause for this school, and many other alumni groups around the country who share similar stories. Day 1. Wynwood Art District, Miami, FL. I started the day working from the floor. I was happy, nervous yet optimistic. The landlord saw me working from the floor and offered me this loaner desk. That was 11 years ago this February. #grateful 🙏🏽 #stingdeep 👊🏽 (I remain happy, nervous, a bit more jaded and thick-skinned than Day 1…business life does that to ya…yet optimistic still. Thankful for all the staff, clients, family, and friends who have supported the good work we insist on doing at Stinghouse Creative.)
