Beyond the kitchen, Irving's passions are just as dynamic—he's an avid tiki mug collector, golfer, airbrush artist, and former competitive sabre fencer. He's lived in France, served as a private chef to a former California Governor/weightlifter, and even dabbled in commercials for Applebee's and PBS's Mind of a Chef!
