About us

The Stirweld team has developed a technology allowing the use of Friction Stir Welding (FSW) on all types of CNC machine (3, 4 or 5 axes). We support you in the optimisation of your machine park and the integration of a new know-how to offer to your customers. Our FSW head for CNC machines offers the same performance as a special FSW machine (effort control, quality recording, etc.). Its other assets: - Low investment cost compared to special machines or FSW robotic stations. - Adaptability: despite the absence of standard machining centres, the Stirweld FSW head can be adapted to all CNC machines. - Ease of use and installation: after the first installation, the user can assemble and disassemble the FSW head in a few minutes and easily switch from machining to welding and vice versa.
