I had the idea for this book 3 years ago when someone encouraged me to write about my experiences, versus just gaining experience and not sharing it with the world. Yes, the book is about AI, but it’s also about leadership, grit, the gotchas, and the practicalities of what it takes to deploy AI-based capabilities in any company, big or small. You’ll also learn how to write a proper strategy, how to estimate & forecast correctly, real things that can be applied towards any project. If any of you know me well, you know, this book is not rooted in theory, or research, or the regurgitation of other studies. I really don’t like imposters! (#sorrynotsorry). It’s rooted in real experience where countless failures lead to eventual successes. And now that AI is “the thing”, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
