If you spend a little time with our CEO and CTO Bill Kaewert, he's likely to stick in your memory. 💯 Whether the topic is electronic design, protecting critical infrastructure, travel or family, you'll almost certainly come away with a warm feeling and fresh knowledge. 🏆 Today, in Bellevue, Washington at the Fall Conference of the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA), he was recognized with the President's Award for his exceptional service and dedication. Bill is a long-time active EGSA member, served on the Board of Directors 2014-2016, and speaks frequently at its conferences. He taught at the organization's On-Site Power Generation School for over ten years, and authored the chapter on electric Starting Systems for EGSA's text "On-Site Power Generation: A Reference Book" - considered by many to be the standard of the industry. He's highly respected in the industry and gives generously of his expertise. In addition to his roles at EGSA, he co-founded Resilient Utilities Now!, a non-profit working to improve US resilience against long-duration electric system failures. He is also an active member of InfraGard, a partnership of private industry and the FBI to protect United States critical infrastructures from deliberate attack. And for all of us who work with him every day, Bill is a patient teacher and a pleasure to work with.
