Founded in 2015, Stormfield Capital is an institutional private credit manager with deep expertise in lower middle-market commercial real estate bridge lending. Through our technology enabled funding platform we specialize in originating and acquiring short term senior loans secured by commercial and residential investment properties. As a result of Stormfield's experience and discretionary capital pool, we are able to underwrite situations which present an urgent need for capital. Typical special situations may include quick closing real estate acquisition, renovation /construction completion loans, foreclosure avoidance, partner or equity buyouts, property stabilization, discounted debt repurchases, NPL divestitures, note-on-note financing, master repurchase facilities, table funding, and more. We pride ourselves in seeing the value in transitional estate assets. Many projects we lend against have significant opportunities for cash-flow enhancement through professional and creative management, expansion, renovation, and lease-up/operational techniques. Stormfield works closely with direct borrowers and mortgage professionals to ensure secure and timely transactions. Max is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and structuring the origination of bridge and investment property loans. Prior to joining Stormfield, Max was a Transactions Analyst Intern at Harrison Street Real Estate Capital in Chicago, IL, where he analyzed, evaluated, and presented acquisition opportunities for Class A real estate across niche sectors, including medical office, senior living, and data centers. Before Harrison Street, Max worked as a Project Manager at Ashton Realty Group in Chicago’s renowned Lincoln Park. Max earned his B.S. in Organizational Change with a minor in Spanish from Northwestern University.
