At Strategic Disruption, we understand that climate justice is intrinsically linked to racial justice. Climate justice isn’t just about sustainability—it’s about equity and ensuring everyone can live in healthy, safe environments. As we push for climate solutions, we must confront the systemic racism and inequality that make Black communities more vulnerable to environmental harm. Feminist activists and movements take on threats and great risks in their work on a daily basis. While funders have historically played it safe with their giving, the current state of the world demands that funders step out of their comfort zones and embrace more risk to ensure feminist movements have what they need to build a just and equitable world.
