Doing this interview made me reflect back at my time at Georgetown with so much nostalgia. I am excited to share a significant milestone in my professional journey as I’ve spent an incredible year at Strategy Hub Qatar ! Reflecting on the past 12 months fills me with gratitude for the opportunities, challenges, and growth that have come my way. Joining this amazing team has been nothing short of a transformative experience. Working in the heart of Qatar's thriving business and political environments has provided me with invaluable experiences, pushing me to expand my skill set, delve into diverse projects, and embrace innovative solutions. From collaborating on strategic initiatives to navigating the intricacies of client projects, every experience has been a stepping stone toward excellence. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of both the local community and various public and private institutions. Whether it's through strategic planning, innovative solutions, or outreach programs, I am proud to be actively working towards building a stronger and more sustainable future for Qatar. I look forward to the upcoming launch of the National Development Strategy 3 (NDS 3) – with NDS 3, I anticipate a strategic re-alignment across all sectors in Qatar to ensure the country continues its progress towards the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030). The launch of the NDS 3 will also likely usher in new projects and initiatives to guarantee Qatar remains on target for its national goals. The kick-off of the NDS 3 presents an exciting opportunity for Qatar, and I am eager to see the new strategic priorities and initiatives come to life.   With this, an important question is raised; how can entities measure the impacts of these new initiatives?   Impact assessments are a tool that can support entities in gauging and analyzing the overall impact of certain initiatives and can help ensure the outcomes and lessons learned are taken into consideration for future work. Impact assessments can be carried out for a variety of initiatives of different sizes – ranging from small events to big government policies.    Previous impact assessment that we have carried out for our clients have yielded extremely positive results in areas such as cost savings and revenue generation opportunities, greater operational efficiency, and potential partnership formation. We also found that it is important for those in leadership positions to stress the importance of impact assessments to all their teams. Signaling the necessity of these assessments demonstrates commitment to the responsible use of resources as well as sustainable development. #qatar #vision #strategy #impact

It was a privilege to have been invited as a speaker at the prestigious Qatar National Dialogue on Climate Change, a pivotal gathering uniting influential policymakers and leading climate change experts. This year, the event highlighted themes in climate action, including groundbreaking trends like innovation, sustainable transitions, economic diversification, water and food security, eco-friendly transportation, AI integration, and sustainable finance. The brilliance of ideas and innovations showcased at the event left me inspired, and I eagerly anticipate witnessing these transformative concepts evolve into concrete actions that will effectively combat the impact of climate change. I extend my sincere gratitude to Dr. Soud Al-Thani, and the dedicated Earthna team for this incredible opportunity. I am honored to have attended the Qatar National Dialogue on Climate Change, a 2-day event that convenes key stakeholders from different sectors to collectively explore and shape the nations approach to climate change. From economic diversification and sustainable development to climate change innovations and sustainable finance, the discussion introduced new perspectives, challenges, as well as tangible outcomes in Qatar’s sustainable development efforts.
