  • This is it! At the end of the day your title and success in the workplace don’t really matter outside of ensuring food on the table roof over the head and clothes on the back! My wife is my greatest support and I try to be for her also! I have doubled my sales tear over year, and this year is going to be monumental personally for me at #EliteGrounds and #Stratton she is the why I can do so. What is even cooler is that she has doubled her clients with hair cuts. It is pretty cool to be a team!

At a conference recently, a young guy pulled me aside. "What's the secret?" he asked. Probably hoping for some sales strategy or marketing hack. Instead, I gave him the real answer: Building a business from scratch? It's brutal. Lonely. Pressure-packed. The kind of stress that breaks people. But here's the actual secret: It's not about business strategy. It's about who stands beside you. In my case? My wife. Let me be crystal clear: The most important career decision you'll ever make? It's not your first job. It's not your business plan. It's who you choose to build your life with. Think about it: • Who picks you up when business knocks you down? • Who pushes you to be better? • Who believes in you when you've lost faith? I've had incredible help building this company. Too many names to list. But nobody, and I mean nobody, deserves more credit than my wife. She's been there: • Through the darkest days • Through the sleepless nights • Through every setback • Through every victory Without her? I'd probably be running a used tire shop somewhere. (And doing a mediocre job at that.) That's my real secret.

I believe there is a massive ROI on integrity. I believe eventually everyone gets exactly what they deserve. I believe that being kind is more important than being correct.

Building relationships!: My life revolves around sales, either as a business developer for the largest privately owned landscape company that is growing in a healthy rapid rate; or as a realtor! Day in and day out I revolve around sales. Sales are not just signed contracts, deals, and commissions. Sales is 💯 about relationships! Last year I took a call from a potential client from realtor.com, I spent a good portion of time talking to the potential client, and set a time for further opportunities to help them move forward in their dream. They have choosen to wait a little while. During the process this potential clients sister and brother in law where in a tricky situation in a home build that they were trying to close. They felt like their agent wasn’t doing them any favors or helping them negotiate to be able to close. They reached out to me. I explained that I am limited in my ability to help due to them being in a contract relationship with another agent. I did what I could for a week or two before being asked by their agent to step aside. (I was helping with absolutely no expectation of compensation) As realtors we have code of ethics, these are real and true. I was trying to help the client, but I was stepping on the toes of their agent. It was a very tenuous position as the buyers begged for help, but their agent didn’t want any help. I had to tell this buyer that I was unable to assist any further because of the contract and the request of the buyers agent. Fast forward a year, and this buyer, who is a lender, has been my best client. I haven’t closed a deal with him and his amazing wife, but he has referred friends and family. As all who live in the sales world a referral is as good as gold! Relationships are far far far more important than a singular deal. I have closed deals, that where only a deal. I have built relationships that have turned to many many opportunities, both as a realtor and more so as business developer for Elite Grounds. The people I work with, interact with, and grow with are the reason I love what I do! I love meeting at properties, walking the landscapes pointing out potential opportunities to further enhance the beauty of their properties and communities! I love deepening relationships! Ever deal has a back story of hours and hours of relationship development! And every deal has the potential to lead to many many more opportunities, but those are only there if the relationship continues to be a focus! #utahrealestate #sales #businessdevelopment #landscapemaintenance #landscapeenhancement #elitegrounds #strattonandbratt #realtor
