Access to affordable, appropriate childcare enables women to work and earn income, leading to better health and nutrition for their families. Over 600 million women globally cannot work due to unpaid care responsibilities. Expanding quality childcare could create 43 million new jobs while giving millions of children access to vital nutrition programs. In well-run childcare programs, children show better health outcomes through reduced stunting and improved weight measures. Learn more about how investing in quality childcare advances gender equality and unlocks future opportunities for girls. 🔗 bit.ly/Nourish-Equality #NourishEquality

Stronger Foundations for Nutrition, World Economic Forum and Accenture are exploring how emerging technologies can accelerate our progress towards nutrition goals, with a particular focus on women and children in low- and middle-income countries. We want to hear from you! What do you think the future of technology and nutrition should look like? Please share your thoughts via this survey.
If you could wave a magic wand and make any global malnutrition challenge disappear, what would you wave it at? Technology is not magic, though innovations like advanced AI and the metaverse do feel eerily close sometimes. The future is coming quickly, and if we approach it responsibly and strategically it can be a true game changer for currently insurmountable challenges. We want to hear from you! Tell us, the World Economic Forum and Accenture what you think the future of technology and nutrition should look like here:

📢 We want to hear from you. 🛠 Help shape how technology can nourish our future.
Scaled equitably and responsibly, technology - including #AI - has the potential to transform global health and development. Putting my dreamer hat on, it feels easy to imagine all aspects of our work supercharged: - data collection and analysis at scale, at the click of a button - precision nutrition solutions solving exact nutritional needs - fully digitized (and fairly compensated) frontline workers efficiently delivering integrated health services - nutrient optimization and avoided loss from farm to fork - consumers empowered to actually understand what is in their food And much more. In a sea of opportunity, what are the game changers? Stronger Foundations for Nutrition in collaboration with Accenture and the World Economic Forum is developing a public report and we'd love your input via a 5 minute survey below. How do you think technology can best be used to transform global malnutrition? Please tell us by November 1st! https://lnkd.in/eFJR47HH

Did you know that 60% of potential mothers live in countries without a statutory right to workplace nursing facilities? While not all mothers can or choose to breastfeed, creating supportive environments for those who do helps women stay employed and strengthens their economic opportunities. Supporting breastfeeding at work not only prevents infant malnutrition but also improves women's health, well-being, and contributes to food security and sustainability. And for every dollar invested in these interventions, there's a $35 economic return. Learn more in #NourishEquality: bit.ly/Nourish-Equality

📅 One month ago at #UNGA79, we launched #NourishEquality at #Together4Nutrition. What a memorable moment that brought both clarity to our challenges and hope for what we can achieve. #NourishEquality addresses the vital link between nutrition and gender equality. Better outcomes for women's rights, health, education, and opportunity improve nutrition. Good nutrition, in turn, supports gender equality. We left with renewed commitment and a clearer roadmap for reaching our nutrition goals, looking toward the Paris 2025 Nutrition for Growth Summit. 📽 Catch all the highlights. https://lnkd.in/dTmAEa2S #Throwback USAID, Ministère des Affaires étrangères français, World Health Organization, UNICEF, UN Women, Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement, Japan - The Government of Japan
