One of my favorite activities is one-on-one coaching. I usually begin with a casual conversation to understand the person better. During this time, I observe their communication style, identify what motivates them, and learn what they value. We discuss their vision and goals, as well as the factors that support their efforts and those that hinder them. Each session reveals new areas to work on before our next meeting. In subsequent meetings, we review the outcomes, adjust our approach, and uncover more areas to address. Often, recurring themes emerge that require focused and intentional discussion. This process exemplifies the power of one-on-one coaching, demonstrating how the best coaching experiences are truly a two-way street.
