This year, we had the honor of hosting 9 interns across our South San Francisco and Shanghai offices. Our #internship program gives college students the opportunity to step into the world of #biotech and gain experience in both the office and lab settings. Meet our Director, Clinical Operations Michael Pelayo. Michael plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing clinical trial operations within our organization to ensure our trials are run smoothly. This is an important time for Structure, as we recently reported positive topline data from the Phase 2a #obesity study and will begin Phase 2b in Q4. It's through team members like Michael that we can bring the best results to patients in need in hopes to make innovative medicines for all.

We’re strengthening our executive team with the promotion of Blai Coll to Chief Medical Officer and Ashley H. joining as Chief Development Officer. These key leadership appointments will help drive the next phase of development and operational success at Structure, strengthening our position to efficiently execute as we move into Phase 2b development with our lead GLP-1 program in the fourth quarter, and advance our promising oral amylin compound into the clinic as soon as possible. We brought our loved ones together and hosted a fun-filled family day! From exciting outdoor activities for the kids and team-building games, this was a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our team while creating lasting memories.
