🚀 Exciting times for StruxHub! We recently visited Denver to witness the stunning Populus Hotel, which is nearing completion. Inspired by Colorado's native Aspen trees (Populus Tremuloides) and designed by Studio Gang Architects under Jeanne Gang for the Aparium hotel group, this hotel will be the first carbon-positive hotel in the United States. 🌱 Populus achieved its carbon offset by planting 70,000 native Spruce trees in Gunnison County, Colorado, in partnership with One Tree Planted. These trees will sequester more carbon than the building emits throughout its lifecycle, creating a net positive impact on climate change. 🌍 This project was challenging due to its tight logistical site with limited access in a busy downtown triangle. StruxHub played a crucial role in coordinating deliveries and tracking materials, and through integrations with Concrete Direct and Maturix we kept everyone in sync. Big thanks to Travis for hosting us! The groundbreaking work on prefabricated assemblies for campus buildings. It's a logistical puzzle with limited access and the majestic redwoods all around. But with careful planning, Truebeck is poised to seamlessly track modules from fabrication to placement. #StruxHub's logistics and delivery management will be instrumental in keeping the flow smooth. The site team will be able to limit deliveries to one truck at a time, where the crane will pick and place the building core assemblies.
