Stryten Energy has received a Phase 2 award from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) through the MAKE IT Prize Facilities Track to build a domestic vanadium electrolyte manufacturing plant to support long-duration energy storage. "We are excited to win the MAKE IT Prize Facilities Track award for our plan to stand up a manufacturing plant in Georgia,” said Scott Childers, Vice President of Essential Power. “This award will enable us to accelerate the manufacturing of vanadium electrolyte and will establish the vertically integrated domestic supply chain needed to meet the growing demand for VRFBs in long-duration energy storage (LDES) applications.
