School of Nursing Vision: We prepare highly skilled professional nurses who are culturally responsive, practice clinical excellence with ingenuity, and proactively improve whole-person healing to advance health equity and social justice. The University of St. Thomas School of Nursing seeks to help address the national nursing shortage by educating nursing students who will serve the needs of diverse urban and rural populations. The School of Nursing is proposing offering a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) upon opening, pending approval of state, national, and federal regulatory bodies. Both programs will prepare students for entry into the nursing practice.
