    Stuart Weitzman announces the launch of its debut eyewear collection with a new campaign fronted by global brand ambassador Issa Rae. Created in partnership with Safilo Group, the Stuart Weitzman Eyewear Collection is set to launch for the Fall 2024 season with a range of optical frames that stay true to the global luxury footwear brand’s ethos of creating stylish, comfortable designs to inspire women with strength and confidence.   “I’m delighted to expand my partnership with Stuart Weitzman as the face of its first-ever eyewear collection.     Last night, Stuart Weitzman welcomed global ambassador Aly Raisman for the second installment of the Stuart Weitzman Stand Strong Series: Conversations About the Pleasures and Pressures of Modern Womanhood.     Yesterday, we welcomed global ambassador Lucy Liu to celebrate the premiere of our new campaign film, “How Lovely to Be a Woman” at the Crosby Street Hotel. A celebration of modern womanhood, the film captures the pleasures and pressures of being a woman today, starring our new global brand ambassadors Aly Raisman, Christy Turlington, Issa Rae, Lucy Liu and Ming Xi.       The event also marked the launch of the Stuart Weitzman Stand Strong Series: Conversations About the Pleasures and Pressures of Modern Womanhood, inspired by the message behind the campaign.     We’re excited to announce the global premiere of “How Lovely to Be a Woman,” a film celebrating modern womanhood. Starring new SW brand ambassadors Aly Raisman, Christy Turlington, Issa Rae, Lucy Liu and Ming Xi, the film offers glimpses into the women’s professional and personal lives, depicting the many roles they play, the pressures they experience that may shake a woman’s confidence — and how they stand strong through it all.   The message is underscored by the film’s soundtrack, a remake of “How Lovely to be a Woman” from the 1963 musical “Bye Bye Birdie.” By pairing the iconic lyrics and remixed melody with vignettes of the five multihyphenate women’s lives, the campaign effectively subverts the message of the original song and reclaims it as a celebratory anthem of women’s empowerment, strength and confidence.     #StuartWeitzman #StandStrong   Watch the film here: https://lnkd.in/e9_4KPY9
