Boise area photogs! You know it isn’t cheap to get quality photo studio equipment to Boise. A simple $26.99 roll of seamless white paper can jump to $44.27 with shipping! But did you realize that Studio Boise Photography Center is the Treasure Valley’s only authorized dealer of Savage products? We currently don’t have the space to keep stock on hand, but our relationship with Savage means that with a big enough group order, we can completely eliminate those shipping costs for everyone — whether you have a tiny studio in your garage or run a major operation. We are restocking our seamless paper for our rental studios this month, and wanted to offer you the chance to join this Savage order — so you can enjoy free shipping as well, on an order of any size. We plan to order at the first of August, so please get any orders to us by the end of July! For this first effort, we have created a Google form, (https://lnkd.in/gGuCyMQQ), that walks you through how to let us know what you would like. Please note that everything will be shipped to our studios on the Boise Bench — if you can’t pick it up from there give us a call and we can talk through the options. Hopefully this opportunity can support you and save you some cash! We are building our business around serving those of you who make our creative community so amazing. Please let us know if I can answer any questions. Thank you for your support and constant creativity!

Had so much fun shooting at Studio Boise Photography Center today! We took pictures for my portfolio website that launches on July 20th. I cannot wait to share the website and rest of the photos. I uploaded the photos off of the Cannon T7 we shot on and am currently editing them in Adobe Lightroom. Here is a sneak peak and new profile headshot. Very much showcased my personality with the pink!

We are very excited to announce that we are taking the reins of the amazing Studio Boise Photography Center, which has been a vital and vibrant part of Idaho’s creative ecosystem for almost nine years. We are so grateful to Scott, Mariska, Kerené and the whole gang at the studio for creating such an amazing space and community, and are excited to build on their work and legacy. We are so glad Bettie and Hailey are sticking around and are super-indebted to Kerené for showing us the ropes before her big move! The No. 1 reason we are so delighted, however, is Boise's photo scene. So many of amazing artists have captured such beautiful, creative and engaging images in these spaces — it is truly a pleasure and an honor to be able to serve and support their inspiring visions. Our promise: Studio Boise will remain a welcoming, inclusive, supportive and accessible hub for Boise’s photo, fashion and creative communities. We will strive to provide high-end studio space, lighting, camera gear and support to professional portrait and product photographers — as well as an affordable and nurturing home for aspiring and emerging photographers, models, designers and stylists. We are such big fans of Boise’s growing photography and creative communities, and hope we continually can find ways to support your evolving needs, foster your wildest ideas, and collaborate with photographers, agencies and studios across the valley. But who are we, anyway? Just two best buds who love Boise’s DIY creativity. Teri Harrison is in charge. She will run the day-to-day and strategic operations at Studio Boise. Teri managed her beauty industry business here for more than 20 years and holds a BFA in studio photography from Boise State University. She recently earned a couple of grants for her work documenting Idaho’s libraries, including one from the Idaho Film Collection, which will house her series in perpetuity. Greg Hahn worked nearly two decades at Idaho newspapers, produced Idaho Reports and other shows at Idaho Public Television, led communications and marketing at Boise State University, and ran the Surel’s Place artist’s residency in Garden City. Along with collaborating on strategy at Studio Boise, Greg is helping launch a bookstore and wine garden in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. We can’t wait to work with you! If you have any questions or just want to get in touch, please don’t hesitate to hit us up at teri@studioboise.org or greg@studioboise.org. We know that Studio Boise shouldn’t just be a place of business — it should be a home for creative Idahoans like you to explore your ideas, express your imagination and find a place where you truly belong. We hope to see you soon!
