💡Want to know what it takes to not only attract, but also retain top talent in the next generation? At Wealth Management EDGE, Summit Financial's Director of Growth and Business Development, Ed Friedman, connected with Brianna Monsanto to discuss the critical factors for attracting and retaining next-gen advisors. One of the most important factors? Technology. “If you want to attract a G2 advisor and you want to make them effective, you must hold the mindset as a firm that you have to be embracing technology. And what technology you used five years ago is not necessarily the technology that's going to get you through the next five years.” 📽️Hear all of Ed’s insights about next-gen advisors from Financial Advisor IQ here: https://lnkd.in/e4HkTUtp #SummitFinancial #WealthManagement #ElevatedIndependence #NextGenAdvisors

As advisor recruiting continues to heat up, how does Summit ensure consistent growth? In a recent video interview with Financial Advisor IQ, Director of Growth and Business Development Ed Friedman reveals culture is king. “You have to be very careful that you’re not growing so fast that you lose the fiber of what made you a great firm to begin with…you run the risk of ripping apart a little bit of that culture that has been so important to the success of the firm. Whether it's minority investment or full acquisition, you have to be able to pay homage and honor what has been the legacy of the firm to that point while fully understanding that you need to grow.” Hear all of Ed’s tips to maintaining company culture and strategic alignment in the midst of exceptional growth: https://lnkd.in/ezaeZp8y #SummitFinancial #WealthManagement #ElevatedIndependence

FA’s RIA ranking orders firms from largest to smallest, based on AUM reported to it by firms that voluntarily complete and submit FA’s survey by it’s deadline. FA does it’s best to verify AUM by reviewing ADV forms. To be eligible for the ranking, firms must be independent registered investment advisors and provide financial planning and related services to individual clients. Firms must have at least $500 million in AUM as of December 31, 2023, to be included in the print edition of FA magazine’s 2024 RIA survey. FA’s ranking comes at no cost to Summit Financial.
