Earlier this week I had the privilege of presenting to the residents at The Seasons Retirement Community on osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. More than 54 million adults in the U.S. live with arthritis, and nearly half face daily activity limitations as a result. Those with arthritis are 2.5 times more likely to experience multiple falls and fall-related injuries compared to those without arthritis. It’s a disease that affects more than just the joints - it impacts the ability to live fully and independently, placing additional strain on caregivers as well. I’m proud of my team at Summit Home Care for organizing this event and for our ongoing commitment to empowering individuals with the information and care they need to live healthier, more active lives.
