Thanks to RENEW Wisconsin for participating in and covering the solar celebration ceremony at UW Health's new Eastpark medical campus. This unique solar installation spans the entire top deck of the medical center's parking garage and is the largest solar canopy in Wisconsin! The clean energy produced from this system will directly offset the energy needs of the medical center, including the facility's new state-of-the-art proton beam therapy unit. Exciting project, and fun to be a part of it.

Our solar project with McFarland Community Ice Arena is underway! With 600 solar panels going up on the roof over the next few weeks, the arena will be ready to harness the power of the sun this summer to save money, lower their carbon footprint, and keep the rink cool for the thousands of kids and area community members who use the facility for hockey, figure skating, and speed skating activities. It was fun and fitting their solar panels arrived on #EarthDay! Congrats to MCIA for going solar, and many thanks to Clean Wisconsin for highlighting the project!
Thrilled to celebrate clean energy at McFarland Community Ice Arena, where a truckload of 600 solar panels rolled in just in time for #EarthDay! 🌎 The non-profit will cut its electric bills by almost $30,000 a year thanks to the large rooftop solar project with SunPeak | Commercial Solar Provider. Federal incentives for non-profits through the Inflation Reduction Act helped make the project possible. ➡️ “For years we've been looking at solar and it was just so cost prohibitive. Our team joined customer UW Health earlier this week to celebrate the completion of Wisconsin's largest solar canopy! The system was constructed atop the parking garage at the new UW Health Eastpark Medical Center, which will open to patients this fall. SunPeak completed this solar PV system in the Chicagoland area for Adlai E. Stevenson High School. The new solar system will help Stevenson save more than $3 million in electricity costs and cut the school's carbon emissions by more than 21,000 tons of carbon dioxide over the life of the system.
