For some of you this started on the 19th, but for AZ it started the night of the 18th. I didn't sleep for 4 days and I have CrowdStrike to thank. I survived because I had friends in good places who helped get us back on track. Rockstars!!! It was funny at the airports listening to the conversations of all of the non-techs and listening to who they were blaming, but the funniest conversation about this shutdown was as I was walking by a line, a football field long, of people waiting for Delta Airlines Customer Support, was "I blame Obama for this outage" I kind of wish I stopped and listened to the rest of that conversation. Speaking of flying - Southwest - rockstars too, way to rock OLD technology so you don't fall in this trap. People saying, "I'm glad I use a Mac" and blaming on the "crappy Microsoft company" clearly showed their lack of intelligence of technology in the words that followed. So as stressful and sleepless as this was, there were some entertaining parts that kept me afloat. Here is hoping everyone survived. I'm a zombie but I'm a survivor (what) 😉
